The Seoul Financial Welfare Counseling Center

Seoul’s innovation approaching the issue of growing household debt with welfare service solutions is being executed by the Seoul Financial Welfare Counseling Center. First launched in July 2013, there are 15 Seoul Financial Welfare Counseling Centers in operation including the central center. In each regional center, two financial welfare counselors are positioned to ensure the healthy economic lives of Seoul citizens, and to improve their quality of life.

    Provision of financial counseling and consultation services and financial education to prevent debts from becoming bad.

    debt scale

    Provision of financial settlement solutions to liberate citizens who are experience severe pain due to household debt to become free of debt

    • Reviewing personal regeneration application documents
    • Provision of litigation aid expenses (socially vulnerable)
